Apple debuted the iPhone 13 series earlier this month, which has internal hardware advancements that make the smartphone flawless. While the business has shrunk the notch as a visible change, inside changes like the larger battery life of the iPhone 13, brighter display, and more are more significant.
I’ve previously written extensively about the iPhone 13’s new display. In this piece, I’ll concentrate solely on the iPhone 13’s battery improvements over the iPhone 12. The most obvious difference is the larger physical battery — the iPhone 13 has a 3,240 mAh battery against 2,815 mAh for the iPhone 12.
Thicker and heavier:
In comparison to the previous-generation iPhone 12, Apple claims that the iPhone 13 will last two and a half hours long. The iPhone 13’s larger battery simply translates to the gadget running for extended periods of time. The new iPhone is bigger and heavier, indicating a change.
The iPhone 13 is 7.45mm thick, compared to 7.4mm for the iPhone 12. It’s not a huge difference, but it’s noticeable. However, the weight difference is noticeable, with the iPhone 13 weighing 10g more than the iPhone 12, which weighs 164g.
The iPhone 13 supports the same 20W fast charging as the iPhone 12 from the prior generation. The iPhone 13 took 89 minutes (1hr 29mins) to charge entirely to 100%, according to GSMArena’s charging test. It took 90 minutes (1hr 30 minutes) to fully charge the iPhone 12 to 100%. The difference in charging time is almost non-existent; the iPhone 13 took just one minute longer to fully charge, but it can be overlooked.
A Power Delivery (PD) charger can be used to charge the iPhone 13. The iPhone 13 might reach a top of 21W when tested by GSMArena with a 30W PD charger.
